Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 kabocha squash (wash, and seeds removed (about 8oz))
  • 2 strips of bacon
  • 2-3 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 Tablespoon packed brown sugar

Instruction

  • Steam the Kabocha squash until tender, about 15 minutes. When done, cut it into 3/4 inch cubes and place them on bakeware lined with aluminum foil.
  • In the meantime, put the bacon on a steamer rack and air fry at 400F (200C) for about 10 minutes until crispy. When cool enough to handle, chop the bacon into small pieces.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar and bacon onto kabocha squash then drizzle with maple syrup. Air fry at 400F (200C) for about 5 minutes.
