Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 200g chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 100g chopped pecan nuts
  • 100g butter or margarine
  • 2tbsp maple syrup
  • 2tbsp hot chocolate powder
  • 1tsp light brown sugar
  • 400g white chocolate

Instruction

  • Grease a 20cm square tin and place the digestives into a plastic sandwich bag and crush with a rolling pin. You want a variety of large chunks and fine crumbs
  • Pour into a large mixing bowl and stir through the chopped pecans
  • In a saucepan gently heat the butter, maple syrup, hot chocolate powder and sugar, stirring continuously until the butter has melted
  • Pour the butter mix over the digestives and pecans and stir until well combined. Press the mix into the bottom of the tin
  • Break the chocolate into a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water
  • Stir continuously until all the chocolate has melted
  • Pour the chocolate over the mixture in the tin. Leave to set before turning out and cutting into squares
