Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups Milk (full fat, boiled and cooled)
- 1 cup Mango puree (From 2 ripe mangoes)
- 2 tablespoons custard powder (vanilla or mango flavored)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Instruction
- First of all boil and cool the milk to room temperature.
- Take custard powder in a small bowl. Add 1/4 cup room temperature milk and mix without lumps. Set aside.
- Now start boiling the remaining milk in low flame. Add sugar and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Once the sugar is dissolved add the prepared custard mixture and mix well. Make sure to mix very well so that lumps are not formed. Cook in low flame for 10-12 minutes till the custard thickens and coat the back of a ladle. Remove from flame and let cool.
- While the custard is cooling, peel and roughly chop the mangoes. Blend to a smooth puree. You can add 2 teaspoons sugar if needed.
- Pour the mango puree into cooled custard. Mix well. Chill for 3-4 hours before serving. Garnish with roasted nuts just before serving.
