Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 Cup Butter, Melted ((110g))
- 2/3 Cups Brown Sugar ((130g))
- 1/4 Cup Sugar ((50g))
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 Tbsp. Maple Syrup ((75g))
- 1/2 Cup Malted Milk Powder ((65g))
- 1 and 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour ((155g))
- 2 tsp Cornflour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips ((90g))
- 3/4 Cup Maltesers, Chopped (some small, some large) ((135g))
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8"x8" baking pan with baking paper.
- In large bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar.
- Add in the egg, vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix well.
- Add in the malted milk powder, flour, cornflour, baking soda and baking powder and mix until well combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped Maltesers.
- Pour into the prepared baking pan and smooth into an even layer.
- Top with additional chocolate chips and Maltesers if you desire and place in the oven.
- Bake for around 15-20 minutes (bars will be lightly golden on the top and sides but may appear slightly underdone in the middle.
