Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, Melted ((110g))
  • 2/3 Cups Brown Sugar ((130g))
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar ((50g))
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tbsp. Maple Syrup ((75g))
  • 1/2 Cup Malted Milk Powder ((65g))
  • 1 and 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour ((155g))
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips ((90g))
  • 3/4 Cup Maltesers, Chopped (some small, some large) ((135g))

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8"x8" baking pan with baking paper.
  • In large bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  • Add in the egg, vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix well.
  • Add in the malted milk powder, flour, cornflour, baking soda and baking powder and mix until well combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and chopped Maltesers.
  • Pour into the prepared baking pan and smooth into an even layer.
  • Top with additional chocolate chips and Maltesers if you desire and place in the oven.
  • Bake for around 15-20 minutes (bars will be lightly golden on the top and sides but may appear slightly underdone in the middle.
