Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp honey ( + more for dipping)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 cups corn flakes (crushed)
- 1 cup macadamia nuts (finely chopped)
- 8 slices King’s Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread (sliced into 1 inch sticks)
- 2 tbsp butter
Instruction
- Whisk the milk, eggs, 1 tbsp honey and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl.
- Combine the crushed corn flakes and chopped macadamia nuts in another shallow bowl.
- Dip the King’s Hawaiian bread “sticks” in the egg mixture, then roll in the corn flakes and macadamia nuts.
- Once all of the french toast sticks are prepared, heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the french toast sticks and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drizzle with the honey, or serve on the side for dipping.
