Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Yellow Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 28 oz Diced Tomatoes
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 30 oz Pinto Beans
  • 1 Cup Red Wine
  • 1/3 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 4 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Celery Seed
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 Tsp Dried Oregano

Instruction

  • In a large skillet or saucepan, cook the ground beef until it begins to brown. Add the onions and garlic and continue to cook until the meat is no longer pink, stirring regularly.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and let simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Optionally garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese and/or crushed tortilla chips.
