The following ingredients have 4 Servings

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz unsalted butter (, slightly softened)
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs (room temp.)
  • 3 egg yolks (room temp.)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (I left this out and used 2 tsp lemon zest instead)
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 3 lemons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 pound unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 5 extra-large egg yolks (egg whites removed)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (3 to 4 lemons)
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 6 Tablespoons sugar
