Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (6-7 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup honey (raw local honey is best. You can also use agave or half of each.)
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instruction

  • In a small saucepan add honey and water. Heat over medium to low heat until combined and honey has melted.
  • Remove from heat and add lemon juice and zest. Stir to combine.
  • Cool mixture in the refrigerator.
  • Place mixture in the freezer in a freezer-safe container. I suggest using a container with a lid that is easy to open.
  • Stir the mixture occasionally throughout the day. When the mixture is frozen to your satisfaction...the sorbet is ready.
