Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 Cups Orzo (uncooked)
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Shallots (finely minced )
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Italian Parsley (chopped )
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Chives (thinly sliced )
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Basil (chopped )
  • 3 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Zest (finely minced )
  • 3/4 Tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated )

Instruction

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add in the orzo and cook for about 7-8 minutes, stirring frequently, until just al dente. Immediately drain well.
  • Return the orzo to the pot and stir in the butter, oil, shallots and fresh herbs. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt & pepper and the parmesan cheese.
