Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 C Flour
- 1 T Baking Powder
- 1 C Sugar
- 1/4 t Salt
- 1 t Lemon Zest
- 1 1/2 C Blueberries
- 2 t Lemon Juice
- 3 T Vegetable Oil
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 C Milk
Instruction
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in blueberries and the lemon zest. In another bowl, beat eggs; add milk, oil and lemon juice. Stir into the dry ingredients mixture, just until moistened. Pour into a greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until toothpick tests clean. Prepare glaze by combining all ingredients. After removing loaf from the oven, while still warm, brush or drizzle the glaze over the bread. 5 Let cool for 10 minutes, remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Glaze: 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1/4 c sugar 1 tsp fresh lemon zest
