Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 1 onion finely chopped small
  • 4 tbs butter
  • 3 tbs plain flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 barbecued cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 tsp KEEN'S curry powder *to taste

Instruction

  • Fry onion in 1 tablespoon of the butter until soft and transparent. Transfer to a small bowl.
  • Melt remaining butter over medium heat and add flour, whisking for a few seconds until combined. Mixture should come away from the sides of the saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and slowly add milk, whisking swiftly until all lumps are removed.
  • Put pan back onto the heat and and whisk slowly for approximately 5-10 minutes until mixture is thickened.
  • Add the curry powder to desired taste.
  • Add chicken and onion and mix through, cook uncovered on low heat until heated through.
  • Serve with rice.
