Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 1 onion finely chopped small
- 4 tbs butter
- 3 tbs plain flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 barbecued cooked chicken shredded
- 1 tsp KEEN'S curry powder *to taste
Instruction
- Fry onion in 1 tablespoon of the butter until soft and transparent. Transfer to a small bowl.
- Melt remaining butter over medium heat and add flour, whisking for a few seconds until combined. Mixture should come away from the sides of the saucepan.
- Remove from heat and slowly add milk, whisking swiftly until all lumps are removed.
- Put pan back onto the heat and and whisk slowly for approximately 5-10 minutes until mixture is thickened.
- Add the curry powder to desired taste.
- Add chicken and onion and mix through, cook uncovered on low heat until heated through.
- Serve with rice.
