  • - salt for sprinkling on chicken
  • SWEET, STICKY, SPICY SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup(s) soy sauce, dark
  • 2 tablespoon(s) palm sugar or brown sugar, heaping
  • 1/4 cup(s) honey
  • 1/4 cup(s) sherry
  • 1/2 cup(s) water
  • 2 tablespoon(s) rice vinegar
  • 1-2 tablespoon(s) korean chili paste**add more if you wish**
  • 2 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) canola oil
  • 4-5 large garlic, chopped
  • - ginger, minced**1 inch**
  • 2 tablespoon(s) chopped green onion **garnish**
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sesame seeds, toatsed**garnish**

Instruction

  • heat your deep fryer to 350 degrees. salt the chicken wings. deep fry the chicken wings for 12-15 minutes oruntil chicken is done. remove and allow chicken to drain on paper towerls. meanwhile, add all the sauce ingredients to a large pan. bring to a low boil. reduce the heat to a simmer. add chicken wings to the sauce. continue to simmer for 5-8 additional minutes. make sure that all the wings are covered with the sauce. place wings on a platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion.
