Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 can of garbonzo (chickpeas) beans (drained)
  • 2 tablespoon Korean BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon gochujang Korean hot pepper paste (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey

Instruction

  • Line the fryer basket with a sheet of lightly greased aluminum foil.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix the Korean BBQ sauce, gochujang, and honey until homogenous.
  • Add in the garbanzo beans. Gently mix everything until all the beans are coated with the sauce.
  • Transfer all the garbanzo beans and the sauce in the bowl to the fryer basket. Spread the beans out so they are not stacked on top of each other.
  • Air fry at 320F (160C) for 23-25 minutes, string a few times in the middle until the sauce on bean's surface caramelized.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
