The following ingredients have 10 Servings

- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon semolina (also known as sooji)
- pinch of ajwain
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons oil
- water (to knead [little more than 1/4 cup])
- 1/3 cup urad dal (also known as split black gram without skin)
- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 4 peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder (also known as amchur powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water (to cook the dal)
