Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 100 grams or 1/2 cup soft butter
- 2-3 tablespoons curd
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro leaves
- 20 curry leaves (finely chopped)
- 6-7 green chilies (very finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- Salt
Instruction
- Take butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Cream well until light and fluffy.
- To this add whole wheat flour, milk powder, salt and mix well.
- Add finely chopped curry leaves, cilantro leaves, green chilies. Also add white pepper powder and mix well.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons curd and make a dough. Do not knead very hard.
- Cover the dough in a parchment or butter paper and chill in fridge for 20 minutes.15 minutes before baking preheat oven at 180C
- Roll the dough into thick circle. Cut out cookies of desired shape. Arrange on a well greased baking tray and bake in hot oven for 12-15 minutes. Serve khara biscuits with coffee.
