Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (preferably unbleached, plus extra for surfaces)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • About 1/2 cup lukewarm water or more to start with
  • 1/2 lb boneless lamb or goat or ground lamb
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 medium onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 multi-colored bell pepper (cored, seeded, and sliced into 1/4-inch-wide strips)
  • 1 1/2 lbs ripe tomatoes (roughly chopped)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Black Vinegar -optional (for drizzling)
