Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 cup besan (/ chickpea flour)
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp asafoetida
- 3 tbsp whole black pepper (crushed)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted )
- 1 tsp salt (or as required)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cup vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Instruction
- In a mixing bowl, add besan, rice flour, red chili powder, garlic paste, asafoetida, crushed black pepper, butter, and salt.
- Rub the flour well with the spices.
- And add water at intervels and combine to make smooth pliable dough.
- Over medium heat, pace a pan and add vegetable oil.
- Fill the chakli press with the dough.
- Press it gently over the hot oil. Watch out your hands, as it is sizzling hot oil.
- When the sizzling sound reduces a little using the ladle flip it.
- Once it turns golden brown remove it from the fire. Transfer it to the kitchen towel.
- Once the karasev reaches the room temperature. Gently break them into large pieces..
- Serve and store the rest to an airtight container.
