Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 80g butter
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup self-raising flour sifted
  • 1/3 cup custard powder
  • 1 cup berry jam

Instruction

  • Pre-heat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in milk and vanilla.
  • Add flour and custard powder and mix to form a soft dough.
  • Roll approximately 2 teaspoons of mixture into balls and flatten slightly on tray before making an indentation with the rounded end of a wooden spoon.
  • Add jam but do not overfill.
  • Bake at 180C for approximately 15 minutes.
