Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 6 cups green cabbage, (shredded)
  • 1 cup red cabbage, (shredded)
  • 1 cup carrots, (julienned)
  • 2 large jalapenos, (diced, seeds removed and discarded)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions.
  • 1/4 cup parsley, (chopped)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar, (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, toss together the red and green cabbage, carrots, jalapenos, green onions, and parsley. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the buttermilk, sour cream, sugar, chives, celery salt, salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Pour the dressing mixture over the veggies and toss to combine.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
