Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 pound green beans
  • 3 Roma tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, optional
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • Bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
  • While the water comes to a boil, cut or snap the ends off of the green beans and add to the pot.
  • Boil green beans for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • While green beans are boiling, chop Roma tomatoes
  • Remove green beans from pot to serving dish.
  • Stir in chopped tomatoes
  • Toss green beans and chopped tomatoes with olive oil, if desired, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
