Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 quarts water
- 1 pound green beans
- 3 Roma tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon olive oil, optional
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instruction
- Bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
- While the water comes to a boil, cut or snap the ends off of the green beans and add to the pot.
- Boil green beans for 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- While green beans are boiling, chop Roma tomatoes
- Remove green beans from pot to serving dish.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes
- Toss green beans and chopped tomatoes with olive oil, if desired, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
