Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1 loaf Irish Soda Bread (((see recipe) at least day old bread, hand torn or cut into cubes))
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- 3 cups half & half ((or whole milk - we typically use 2 cups half & half to 1 cup whole milk))
- 4 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup butter ((1 stick, melted and cooled))
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg ((freshly grated is best, add more on top of the assembled bread pudding if desired))
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1-3 Tbsp Bailey's Irish Cream ((to taste, 1 Tbsp will only have a hint of Bailey's flavor))
