Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 ounces White Rice
  • 8 ounces Water
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt

Instruction

  • Place the rice in a fine mesh strainer and run it under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • Pour the rinsed rice into the Instant Pot followed by the water and salt.
  • Lock the lid in place and turn the valve to SEALING.
  • Press the RICE button.
  • When the timer goes off press CANCEL and then let the Instant Pot do a full natural release. You will know it is done when the float pin drops down.
  • Turn the valve to VENTING (no steam should come out because you let the pressure naturally release). Remove the lid and use a fork to fluff the rice.
  • Serve.
