Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 rack pork ribs ((about 2.5 pounds))
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp brown sugar ((or add more sugar according to your liking, up to 2 tbsp max per recipe if you like it to be on the sweeter side))
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp ancho chili powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp ground mustard
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp sea salt (or about 2½ tsp coarse Kosher salt) ((use more or less salt according to your liking))
- 1 tbsp liquid smoke
Instruction
- Rinse the ribs and pat them dry. Remove the membrane (if any) and cut the ribs into three parts so they can fit into the pot.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub seasoning ingredients until combined.
- Place the ribs in a large bowl or zip lock. Rub the ribs with the homemade dry rub seasoning blend. Be sure to coat all sides, front and back of ribs with rub.
