Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 rack pork ribs ((about 2.5 pounds))
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp brown sugar ((or add more sugar according to your liking, up to 2 tbsp max per recipe if you like it to be on the sweeter side))
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp ancho chili powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp ground mustard
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp sea salt (or about 2½ tsp coarse Kosher salt) ((use more or less salt according to your liking))
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke

Instruction

  • Rinse the ribs and pat them dry. Remove the membrane (if any) and cut the ribs into three parts so they can fit into the pot.
  • In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub seasoning ingredients until combined.
  • Place the ribs in a large bowl or zip lock. Rub the ribs with the homemade dry rub seasoning blend. Be sure to coat all sides, front and back of ribs with rub.
