Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1.5 cups Sweet Onion
- 1 cup Green Bell Pepper
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 teaspoon Better Than Bouillon Beef Base
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 2 teaspoons Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 1.5 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 6 ounces Provolone Cheese (cut into cubes)
- 3 ounces Cheese Whiz
Instruction
- Select Sauté or Browning on your Pressure Cooker cooking pot and allow to fully heat.
- Add oil, onions, peppers, beef base and sauté 3 minutes.
- Pour in Worcestershire sauce and red wine vinegar and deglaze cooking pot, making sure nothing is stuck on the bottom.
- Mix in brown sugar, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Add ground beef and mix through to break up beef.
- Lock on Lid and close pressure valve. Cook at high pressure for 3 minutes. When Beep sounds, wait 10 minutes and then release the rest of the pressure.
- Open Lid. If there is excessive liquid, select Sauté/Browning and simmer until the liquid has cooked off and the consistency is thick.
- Add provolone cheese cubes and cheez whiz. Mix through just enough to combine (cheese should not completely melt) and serve on buttered/toasted brioche or hamburger buns.
