Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 pound Fresh Cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup Demerara Sugar (or other sugar or sweetener)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon True Orange Ginger
  • or
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger Root (grated)
  • 1 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Orange Zest

Instruction

  • Rinse and drain cranberries and set aside.
  • Whisk together orange juice, sugar, cinnamon and True Orange Ginger (or grated ginger).
  • Add cranberries and juice to the Pressure Cooker cooking pot.  Add cinnamon stick.
  • Lock on lid and close pressure valve. Cook at High pressure for 1 minute.  When Beep sounds, wait 5 minutes and then release the rest of the pressure.
  • Open lid and add Orange Zest.
