Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2.5 lb beef roast
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instruction

  • Mix together your salt and peppers in a small bowl, rub mixture all over your roast and place in a resealable bag
  • Put your remaining ingredients in a bowl, stir until well combined and pour into the bag with your roast.
  • Place your roast in your fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight (flip the bag a few times during the marinating).
  • Place your roast in your 6-quart Instant Pot.
  • Cook at high pressure on manual for 60 minutes. Do not allow warming cycle to kick on.
