Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • metal rack that comes with the Instant Pot

Instruction

  • Place the metal rack in the bottom of the instant pot. (the one that came with it)
  • Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pressure cooker.
  • Place eggs carefully on top of the rack.
  • Seal the top on tightly and turn top knob to seal the cooker to high pressure.
  • Set the manual cooking time to 5 minutes (by pushing the manual button and adjusting the timer to 5 minutes)
  • After cooking , set a timer for 5 minutes and let the pressure release naturally.
  • Then quick release the remaining pressure by placing a towel over the top knob and turning it.
  • Carefully remove the hot eggs and place them immediately in a bowl of water full of ice. (aka ice bath)
  • After 5 minutes, you can easily peel the eggs.
