Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 Tablespoons Bacon Fat (or other oil)
  • 3 lb Chuck Roast
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Dry Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sugar or Sugar Substitute
  • 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • Fresh Rosemary and Thyme to Taste

Instruction

  • Salt and pepper your roast and then brown on each side in the bacon fat in your 6-quart Instant Pot on saute
  • In a bowl, mix together garlic, onion, sugar, vinegar and broth.
  • Pour mixture over your roast and top with the herbs.
  • Seal and cook on manual high for 60 minutes
  • Natural release for 15 minutes, then quick release
  • Remove herbs and serve roast with sauce.
