Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 cups cold, leftover Meat (beef or lamb, cut into thin strips)
  • 3 onions (finely sliced)
  • 3 tomatoes (peeled, seeds removed, finely chopped)
  • 3 green chili peppers (seeds and interior white skin removed, cut into thin strips)
  • 3 Tbsps Oil
  • 0.25 tsp Mustard seed
  • 0.25 tsp Cumin
  • 0.25 tsp cilantro
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instruction

  • Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the mustard seeds and the cumin seeds for about 30 seconds until they begin to crackle. Add the onion and the chilli and fry gently, stirring continuously.
  • Stir in the meat, ground spices, Worcestershire sauce and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and fry together on a medium heat for a further 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.
