Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1-14 oz. can or 1 3/4 cups cooked chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger (peeled)
  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Asian chili paste (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instruction

  • Place all ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of bowl as needed.
  • Serve with naan or pita bread.
