Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 walnut-sized ginger (grated)
  • 4 Tbsps sesame oil
  • 4 Tbsps Lime juice
  • 2 Tbsps Yogurt
  • 0.5 Tbsp tomato puree
  • 0.5 tsp ground Cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground cilantro
  • 1 tsp ground Cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 4 Chicken breasts skinned and cut into 1 cm(1/2") strips
  • salt
  • Limes

Instruction

  • Mix the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, lime juice, yoghurt and tomato purée. Stir in the cardamom, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chilli and cloves.
  • Add the chicken, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • Cover a grill pan with foil. Remove the chicken from the marinade, place on the grill pan and grill for 3 minutes until the meat is just brown. Turn and grill for a further 3-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and serve with the lime slices.
