Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- Ice Cream Maker
- Hand Mixer
- Instant Pot
- 250 ml Whole Milk
- 250 ml Single Cream
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 125 g Caster Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 Can Condensed Milk
- 100 g Rolo/Munchie Chocolate
Instruction
- Submerge a can of condensed milk in the instant pot and steam for 40 minutes until your condensed milk becomes caramel. Allow to cool.
- Using an electric hand mixer or a whisk beat together the egg yolks and the sugar until they are fluffy.
- Heat milk and single cream in a small pan and add the vanilla essence.
- Add the egg mixture to the pan and stir on a high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to the fridge and allow to cool for at least an hour.
- Load the vanilla ice cream mix to your ice cream maker, along with 1/3 of a can of condensed milk caramel and set it to 30 minutes.
- Chop up your chocolate covered caramel into small chunks with a vegetable knife.
- After 30 minutes add in your chocolate chunks.
- Allow the ice cream maker to churn for 15 more minutes to nicely mix in the chocolate.
- Transfer to the freezer for an hour and then serve.
