Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Ice Cream Maker
  • Hand Mixer
  • Instant Pot
  • 250 ml Whole Milk
  • 250 ml Single Cream
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 125 g Caster Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Can Condensed Milk
  • 100 g Rolo/Munchie Chocolate

Instruction

  • Submerge a can of condensed milk in the instant pot and steam for 40 minutes until your condensed milk becomes caramel. Allow to cool.
  • Using an electric hand mixer or a whisk beat together the egg yolks and the sugar until they are fluffy.
  • Heat milk and single cream in a small pan and add the vanilla essence.
  • Add the egg mixture to the pan and stir on a high heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to the fridge and allow to cool for at least an hour.
  • Load the vanilla ice cream mix to your ice cream maker, along with 1/3 of a can of condensed milk caramel and set it to 30 minutes.
  • Chop up your chocolate covered caramel into small chunks with a vegetable knife.
  • After 30 minutes add in your chocolate chunks.
  • Allow the ice cream maker to churn for 15 more minutes to nicely mix in the chocolate.
  • Transfer to the freezer for an hour and then serve.
