Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 2 cup(s) ice cream, any flavor
  • 1½ cup(s) self-rising flour

Instruction

  • Set the ice cream out to get soft enough to stir together with flour in a large bowl.
  • Add other bits and pieces if you like: chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, not more than 1/3 cup or so.
  • Spread batter into an 8-inch greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350º oven for 40-45 minutes.
  • Stick with a toothpick to test for doneness. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Serve with or without butter or other spread. Yummy!
  • I did add about 1½ Tablespoons sugar to give it some sweetness. It turned out perfectly.
