The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 avocados
- 1 lime
Instruction
- Cut each avocado in half.
- Remove the pits and discard.
- Take a spoon and gently scoop the avocado flesh away from the skin, so you have 8 avocado halves.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Cut a lime in half and rub it across the parchment paper.
- Lay the avocado halves, cut side down, on the parchment paper.
- Squeeze the rest of the lime juice over the avocado halves.
- Place the tray of avocado halves in the freezer for about four hours, or until they are frozen.
- Transfer the frozen avocado halves to freezer-safe, gallon-sized, zippered bags.
- The avocado halves can be kept in the freezer for up to one month.
- When ready to use, take the desired amount of avocado halves out of the bag and allow them to thaw in a bowl at room temperature, for about two hours.
