Ingredients
The following ingredients have 1 Servings
- 1 cup milk, (divided)
- 2 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1 egg yolk
- marshmallows
- Optional: Brandy
Instruction
- Heat 1/4 cup of the milk and chocolate on low in a sauce pan and whisk to thoroughly combine.
- In separate pan heated on low whisk the egg yolk until smooth and heated, being careful not to curdle.
- Slowly add chocolate mixture by the spoonful into the yolk while whisking continually. Add the remaining milk and heat to temperature.
- Add brandy to a mug, if desired, and add hot chocolate. Top with marshmallows.
- Scale this recipe as needed to yield more servings.
