Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 slices thick cut brioche bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • strawberries (chopped)
  • maple syrup
  • butter

Instruction

  • Crack the eggs into a shallow dish and whisk in the milk and cinnamon. Dip the brioche into the egg mixture being sure to coat the entire slice.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and place one tablespoon of butter and a drizzle of light olive oil or vegetable oil. Fry the brioche on both sides until golden and crispy.
  • Serve with fresh strawberries, maple syrup, and icing sugar.
