Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 8 slices thick cut brioche bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- strawberries (chopped)
- maple syrup
- butter
Instruction
- Crack the eggs into a shallow dish and whisk in the milk and cinnamon. Dip the brioche into the egg mixture being sure to coat the entire slice.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and place one tablespoon of butter and a drizzle of light olive oil or vegetable oil. Fry the brioche on both sides until golden and crispy.
- Serve with fresh strawberries, maple syrup, and icing sugar.
