Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 lb whole chicken (1.814kg)
  • 3 small carrots (unpeeled, washed)
  • 1 small onion (washed, and quartered)
  • 1 large celery stalk (washed)
  • parsley (I use the stems, save the leaves for soup)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 8 quarts water
