The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 lb whole chicken (1.814kg)
- 3 small carrots (unpeeled, washed)
- 1 small onion (washed, and quartered)
- 1 large celery stalk (washed)
- parsley (I use the stems, save the leaves for soup)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 10 peppercorns
- 8 quarts water
