Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 bottles beer
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 2-3 lb chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce (any bbq sauce of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese (grated, 100% optional)
Instruction
- To make chicken marinate, using a pot combine 2 bottles of beer, 2 tablespoons of sea salt and 1 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. Bring it to a boil, continuously stirring simmer for 3 minutes. Let it cool (Never add chicken to a hot marinate).
- After marinate cools down, pour it into a bowl with chicken wings, cover and marinate for 1 hour or no more than 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 450F, prepare your baking sheet by greasing it with oil or butter (I love using cast iron skillet in this recipe!).
- Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Toss chicken wings with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, then spread the chicken wings on a baking sheet or cast iron skillet. Bake for 25 minutes, flip on the other side and bake for another 10 minutes or until yummy roasted color.
- Transfer chicken wings into a bowl and toss it with 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ Sauce (This is the brand I like to use!), return back to the baking sheet and sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese over the top, bake for 5 more minutes. Garnish with finely chopped parsley if desired. Serve with Mushroom Pasta with Homemade Pesto Sauce or Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes. Enjoy!
