Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 TBSP canola oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups water (boiling hot. If you watch the video I say the wrong amount in the video. this is the right amount)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In an ungreased square pan , 8 x 8, stir together flour, sugar, 2 Tbsp cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Spread evenly in the pan.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 C cocoa.
  • Pour hot water over batter.
  • Bake for about 35 minutes.
  • Let stand 15 minutes and then spoon into dessert dishes and top with ice cream!
