Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 Warburtons Sub Rolls
  • 4 German frankfurters
  • Drizzle of oil for frying
  • 1 Cup Sauerkraut (drained)
  • ½ Medium carrot (grated)
  • ½ Dessert apple (grated)
  • Mayonnaise (enough to coat)
  • Sliced pickled gherkins
  • German mustard
  • Crispy onions
  • Ketchup

Instruction

  • Mix the drained sauerkraut with the grated carrot, apple and enough mayonnaise to coat. Set aside in the fridge.
  • Fry the frankfurters in the oil in a griddle pan according to their instructions.
  • Side slice the sub rolls and fill with the krautslaw, sliced gherkin and frankfurters.
  • Finish off with a squirt of German mustard plus ketchup and crispy onions if you wish.
