Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 Warburtons Sub Rolls
- 4 German frankfurters
- Drizzle of oil for frying
- 1 Cup Sauerkraut (drained)
- ½ Medium carrot (grated)
- ½ Dessert apple (grated)
- Mayonnaise (enough to coat)
- Sliced pickled gherkins
- German mustard
- Crispy onions
- Ketchup
Instruction
- Mix the drained sauerkraut with the grated carrot, apple and enough mayonnaise to coat. Set aside in the fridge.
- Fry the frankfurters in the oil in a griddle pan according to their instructions.
- Side slice the sub rolls and fill with the krautslaw, sliced gherkin and frankfurters.
- Finish off with a squirt of German mustard plus ketchup and crispy onions if you wish.
