The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 cup(s) beef broth, homemade or reduced sodium
- 1/2 cup(s) ketchup, reduced sodium opt
- 1 teaspoon(s) spicy mustard
- 1 teaspoon(s) coarse sea salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1/4 cup(s) chili powder, mild or hot
- 1 teaspoon(s) cumin
- 2 tablespoon(s) granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoon(s) granulated onion
- 2-3 tablespoon(s) corn flour
- 1/2 -1 cup(s) hot water
Instruction
- Homemade broth has less sodium and more flavor!!! Warm stock, add all ingredients and simmer on low for about 20 min. Taste and adjust (add more) any seasonings as needed. To thicken mix 2-3 tbsp of corn flour to enough HOT water (1/2 - 1) to make a paste, make sure all lumps are dissolved. Add to sauce, whisk to combine and simmer on very low for about 15 min. longer. If it's not thick enough for your taste, repeat.
