Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- Oil for frying
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp
- 4-5 egg whites
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup Walnut Pieces
- 1/2 cup Mayo
- 3 Tbs Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 3 Tbs Honey or C&H® Honey Granules or Domino Honey Granules
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
Instruction
- Preheat oil to 375 degrees
- Clean and devein jumbo shrimp
- In a large bowl beat egg whites until white and frothy
- In a medium sized bowl mix together corn starch, salt, and pepper
- Dip shrimp in egg whites, then dredge in the cornstarch mixture.
- Fry in 375 degree oil for 2-3 minutes until shrimp is cooked and exterior is crispy
- Set on a paper towel lined plate, and set aside.
- In a new large (microwave safe) bowl, mix together sauce ingredients.
- Microwave for 30 seconds, and stir well to help C&H® Honey Granules melt into the sauce
- Dump walnuts into bowl with sauce, add shrimp, and toss!
- Once shrimp is well coated, serve immediately.
- Great served over rice and garnished with chives.
