Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 2 cups almonds
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup coarse sea salt
- 3 tbsp raw sugar
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & spread almonds over it in an even layer
- Once oven is to temperature, place sheet in oven & bake 10 minutes
- While almonds are baking, combine granulated sugar & honey in a small saucepan
- Heat over low heat until sugar has dissolved & mixture comes to a boil
- Allow to bubble 1-2 minutes before removing from heat
- Remove almonds from oven after 10 minutes, carefully transfer to a medium sized bowl, add honey mixture & toss to coat
- Transfer back to parchment lined baking sheet, spread out into an even layer & bake again for 15 minutes
- Remove from oven & allow to cool completely
- Once cooled, separate any almonds that are stuck together & place all the almonds in a small bowl
- In another small bowl, combine salt, raw sugar & nutmeg - stir
- Transfer mixture to almonds & toss to coat while almonds are still slightly sticky
- Can be store in an air-tight container for several weeks
