Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 1/2 cup butter (melted (divided))
- 1 Tbsp Molasses
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 12 ounces dark beer (I used Nitro Milk Stout)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Pour half of the butter into a 9X5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl combine molasses, honey, syrup and cinnamon and stir to combine.
- Combine flour, salt and baking powder and whisk to combine. Add to bowl with moist ingredients and mix just until blended. Add the beer and stir to combine.
- Turn the batter out into prepared pan and smooth the top lightly.
- Pour the remainder of the butter over the top of the mixture in the loaf pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until top has risen and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow bread to cool in pan for 15 minutes; remove it from pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.Cut with a serrated knife.
- Great with butter and jam or honey or cream cheese.
