Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp garlic salt (with parsley flakes)
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • parsley (dried)

Instruction

  • Add several cups of water to a pot. Sprinkle with garlic salt and bring to a boil on MEDIUM-HIGH heat. Add carrots and cook 5 to 8 minutes (shorter for baby carrots and longer for gourmet carrots), or until fork tender.
  • Drain the water from the pot. Add butter, honey, lemon juice, pepper and garlic salt. Cook on LOW for 5-7 minutes or until carrots are coated with glaze.
  • Add any more salt and pepper to taste and garnish with dried parsley.
