Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken - sliced 1/2 - 1 in thick pieces
- 4 tablespoon(s) olive oil - divided
- 5 clove(s) garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup(s) plus 1 tsp honey
- 3 ounce(s) soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes ( optional )
- small can(s) water chestnuts, drained
- 1 can(s) baby corn, drained
- 2 package(s) stir fry vegetables
- 2 tablespoon(s) corn starch
- 3 tablespoon(s) water
Instruction
- In a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce,garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, stir fry chicken and garlic in 2 tablespoons of oil. When chicken is halfway cooked; add the sauce. Continue cooking until the chicken is completely cooked. Add pepper flakes. Pour into dish and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, stir fry the vegetables in remaining oil for 4 - 5 minutes until heated through.
- Add the chicken and sauce, and mix well.
- Combine corn starch and water until smooth; stir into chicken mixture. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 1 minute, or until thickened.
- Serve over rice.
