Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 2 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken - sliced 1/2 - 1 in thick pieces
  • 4 tablespoon(s) olive oil - divided
  • 5 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup(s) plus 1 tsp honey
  • 3 ounce(s) soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes ( optional )
  • small can(s) water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can(s) baby corn, drained
  • 2 package(s) stir fry vegetables
  • 2 tablespoon(s) corn starch
  • 3 tablespoon(s) water

Instruction

  • In a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce,garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, stir fry chicken and garlic in 2 tablespoons of oil. When chicken is halfway cooked; add the sauce. Continue cooking until the chicken is completely cooked. Add pepper flakes. Pour into dish and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, stir fry the vegetables in remaining oil for 4 - 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Add the chicken and sauce, and mix well.
  • Combine corn starch and water until smooth; stir into chicken mixture. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 1 minute, or until thickened.
  • Serve over rice.
