Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4-5 Boneless chicken thighs ((or boneless and skinless breasts works fine, too))
- 2 teaspoon creole seasoning
- 1 tablespoon minced, garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice ( plus lemon slices for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons parsley
Instruction
- Season chicken with salt, and creole seasoning; set aside.
- Then heat a Cast Iron or skillet over medium high heat; brown chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through about 5-7 minutes per side, turning frequently , if needed for even cooking. Or until chicken turns pink or reached 165 degrees F Set chicken aside.
- In a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce and lemon. Set aside.
- Add garlic and ginger to the pan the cast iron quickly stir for about 30 seconds, be careful not to let it burn ,cause it might alter the flavor.
- Return chicken thighs back to the pan.
- Quickly pour in honey mixture , continue to cook the chicken for about a minute while the sauce reduces to a thicker consistency , turn chicken around to coat in sauce , turn off the heat, garnish with parsley, if desired and serve immediately with rice and/ or vegetables.
