Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 carrots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped, for garnish)

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Peel the carrots and remove the ends. Use a sharp knife to diagonally cut the carrots into 1-inch pieces. (This makes them look fancy.)
  • Place carrots in a large oven-safe skillet or onto a baking sheet. Toss with olive oil until completely coated.
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Then use your hands to rub the seasoning all over the carrots.
  • Roast in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir the carrots. Then drizzle honey all over the top.
  • Place the pan back in the oven and roast for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven once the carrots are tender and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish if desired.
