Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (preferably Japanese mayo)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cool water

Instruction

  • Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and still until fully combined.
  • As a substitute for mirin, you mix 1 tablespoon white wine or dry sherry with 1 teaspoon sugar.
  • Cover the sauce and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
