- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Instruction
- Melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in flour and whisk for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until there are no lumps remaining.
- Bring to a boil and cook until thick, whisking continually for about 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
